We were so happy lah, then NS started.
Was talking to him on the phone,
seems like we still have a lot of crap to go through.

when I start school, he'll be in NS.
When he ORD, I'll be like in my 3rd year (?) already.
When I start working, he's still studying.
We may not be in the same school,
our timetables may clash,
the time that we get to spend together may be even much less than what we have now.
All these are probably going to happen and it's like the easiest way now.

I'm feeling kind of down recently.
Kind of hoping that time will pass slowly so B doesn't have to serve the country YET.

I scold them occasionally (okay, very frequently for some) but at the end of the day, I like them.

I was wondering what title should I name this post.
At first I was thinking, how about "You're my missing piece", something along that line.
Then, I thought omg, thats damm mushy and a lil cheesy so I picked B's friday friday XD

It's like 5 more days till our 2nd anniversary!
Thinking back, we always do those very common couple things like eat, watch movie, shop, eat, watch movie..
But then, we also did some other things like our Science Centre and Zoo trips!

Recently, we decided to spice things up so...
we went CYCLING at ECP! :D
Stupidly, we actually lost our way.
Damm embarrassing, I know but I swear I've followed gothere.sg's directions D:

Life's been pretty simple nowadays.
Currently working at a student care in south view,
pretty hectic when everyone is back but the kids are really cute!
Now i'm trying to balance work, B and friends but it's really not easy.
Especially when my work ends at 6.30pm :/

Went on a different kind of date with B today :D
Cycled at ECP and caught "Hall Pass" at the Cathay!
As usual, I brought him on a merri-go-round around singapore again!
It really wasn't my fault but I got the wrong directions from gothere.sg ):
it says walk, I have a feeling that it meant walking across the highways and stuff.

Sleepover at Olivia's place to celebrate Erica's birthday on Friday.
Ended for me at 2plus when I KO-ed.
Fen and Erica are totally night people because they slept only when it's almost 4am

Chiong-ed the whole Sat morning for the tutoring thing at WS.
let's just say my group is doing quite well. :D

when i received that slip of A4-sized paper,
the 1st thing i did was to scan at my grades.
not bad, thank god then HOLY SHIT!

yes, i'm really thankful that i did pretty okay for my other subjects but a C for my effing H2 MATH?
Oh god, it's O levels all over again.
Luckily Jan was right behind me and she offered me a hug like straight away.
seriously, i just dived into her. (thanks dear!)

This whole A level drama has really taught me how important my friends and family are.
They're there for me when i took my results,
after i took my results and yea,
they're always there (:

thankfully for me, this time round,
my parents' friends all told them that my results are on the better side so i didn't feel like i've disappointed them.

This really wonderful and sweet boyfriend got me roses!

I need to think.
Maybe in a little space of my own.
I'm not good at everything and I kind of suck at a lot of things.
Perhaps it's time for me to stop diving head first into things without even knowing what they are.
Guess I should start knowing myself.

The truth is,
I'm afraid of screwing myself up but I'm even more afraid of screwing up people's life.
Teaching? Not quite for me after all.
I'm extremely grateful for what my teachers have done for the past 10 plus years.
I don't know how they did it, really.

It's not that I have a lot of things to do in school.
It's just that it really gets me down when I'm trying, really trying but it's not enough.

I don't even know what I'm typing about now.
All I know is that I don't want to return to school tomorrow.
Screw A levels for the time being.

When I was young, I thought of moving out when I'm older.
It's the idea of being cool, being independent and being free.
Now, it's for me to be alone.
When I don't feel like seeing anyone, talking to anyone.
When I want to be by myself for the whole day.
I'll eat instant noodles and watch my dramas.

It's by LISA SEE (my surname!), good book for those who love reading about History, Romance, Family and Drama all together!
To sum it up, it's worth the time :D

This week went by pretty quickly.
Maybe it's the shadowing, made my life so much easier.
Relieving classes wasn't that bad too.
All I had to do is enter the class and maybe walk around.
Plus the classes that I relieved was very well behaved.
Awesome kids!

Did I mention that I went to relieve a MALAY class with Tiang?
It turned out to be a nightmare.
Fun but still a nightmare.
Those students were funny but we'll be so screwed if the P/VP walked past.

This idiot showed up downstairs instead of the LRT station!
It's not something thats happens on all our dates so yea, I was surprised and happy and it got me very excited! LOL

Bus-ed over to CWP for B's lunch and movie!
I wanted to watch a rebound show but he wasn't interested so we settled for All Wells End Well!
Awesome! Lots of hunks (actually, it's just Louis Khoo) and hot babes!
Movie lasted almost for 2 hours, was freezing my ass off in the cinema.
At one point of the movie, I was spamming popcorns into B's mouth!
Retarded but fun, i like! :D

Top 10 Reasons why I should never fall sick.

I don't fall sick easily now so when I'm sick, it sort of STAYS.
It makes me tired. Extremely tired.
I become grouchy and irritable. Like 10 times more.
I can't teach without feeling even worse.
Tissue papers become my new best friend and thats not very environmentally friendly. A hanky is plain unhygienic.
I feel my mucus flowing.
I have nothing to eat.
The sniffing sound is plain irritating. (Look at 6.)
It makes me look pale. Or at least my skin looks dull when it's already not-glowy in the 1st place.
I simply hate being sick.

A few days ago, it just suddenly struck me that we do have heros among us and they're actually our BUS DRIVERS (and pilots etc etc but I just want to talk about bus drivers)!

I think it all started when i was on bus 963 on my way home from NUS last week.
being someone who has like almost zero sense of directions,
i asked the uncle to confirm that the bus is heading towards woodlands and not habourfront.
i'll be damm screwed if i board the wrong direction.

so when i was on the bus and a few aunties and uncles are randomly yakking away,
i realised that all of our lives are in the hands of the mighty bus driver.
just imagine how many lives there will be when it's peak hour (think 190 from stevens road at 5+pm).
their ability to stay calm and just drive amazes me.
somehow, it also makes me realise that the chances of me not learning driving in my whole life is 90%.

it's like there are so many people!
so many roads with many many cars zipping through.
like that how to drive?!?!
plus those double decker buses and long buses seemed extremely hard to control.
every time when i'm sitting beside the window at the back of a long bus,
i'll always look when the bus is making a turn.

yea, it scares me to think that the 2nd part will not be able to turn fully and will end up on its side D:

oh well, maybe it's just me who thinks that they're amazing but i certainly think that they deserves our respect.

I have rashes on my neck.
And my back.
There was more last night and I woke up every 30+ minutes just to scratch for another 10+ minutes all the way till 4+ in the morning when I was finally able to sleep peacefully till 9am.

It sucks. I only ate 4 pieces of fried prawns!

Then came along the crab allergy and I was DEVASTATED!
I love crabs!

Many many days ago, I left on a trip to Genting with my mum and sis.
After the torturous bus ride, we went to Kenny Roger for lunch while waiting to check in.
Look at how happy we are to settle within the clouds (not literally but yet almost literally, you get what I mean).

Impromptu outing with Fen yesterday to hop over to taka for some shopping.
Actually, we were greatly attracted to the (up to) 40% sales in FOX.
Her target was the tank top, my target was actually a very nice jacket which is no longer available for sales since more than a year ago.

Didn't really buy anything in the end and we moved on to Wisma and then Ion.
Look what we've tried on in NEW LOOK :D

A top obviously too tight for my bulging tummy

I did like this top but it was too normal for its price while Fen's tank was kinda tight even though it looks realllllly nice

Mad cute jumper/jumpsuit/whatever-it-is, her height made a difference to the way we wore it. I had to fold it in the waist, FML

Went to Pull & Bear and I saw another top that I reallllllllllly like but it costs $40.

What's the point of studying so much?
Sometimes, I get so sick of being so pragmatic then I realised that I'm too pragmatic to do what I really like.

I remembered that I used to love learning.
I like reading (& I still do) and I love learning.
Looked what happened.
I'm not sure if the problem is with me or it's with our whole society.
(actually, I think it's our society.)

Truth be told, I don't really enjoy learning that much anymore.
Why? Because it's always accompanied by tests and examinations and in the end, people judge you for how much things you can squeeze into your sponge-like brains.
It's no longer about your passion to learn.

It's so sad that we are (or maybe just I am) so results-oriented.
I was doing my revision for Chemistry and i realised that despite trying so hard,
I still screwed up the paper and Chemistry is on next tuesday.
DING DING DING!
I lost to a stack of papers because I've allowed it to make me feel very very inferior, i.e. i suck badly at Chemistry.

Why?
Why do we allow these pieces of papers to make us feel so worthless?
It's so ironic that my ambition is to be a teacher.
Perhaps it's because I hope that I'll be able to help someone avoid this tragic path of letting academic results triumph over everything else.
I'm hoping that someone out there will really get to love learning and to enjoy it.
Like how I feel when any one of my teachers managed to guide me to understand certain things.
It makes me feel happy.
During these consultations, it's no longer about my results for those practice papers.
it's about understanding certain things that I've neglected while chasing after those results. (e.g memorising certain stuffs ;) )

This is getting out of point already.
I realised that I have more things to talk about when I was on the bus.
Oh well.

this is it.
today is the end of our school day.
if i said that i've never hated school,
i'll be lying.
but really,
what i've received from my near 2 years in CJ is worth every single drop of blood, sweat and tears.

the friendship forged during these 2 years will be a part of my most precious memories.
if it wasn't for my classmates/ friends in T17,
i swear that i wouldn't have been able to carry on with the hectic JC curriculum.

To my dear friends of t17'10,
Thank you for everything that you've done.
You people made school worth going for.
From the very beginning of orientation within the class to the beginning of PW, to our 1st class outing (at either sentosa or ECP), to the WR and promos, to OP, to Batam, to JC2, CTs, Prelims and all the way to graduation day.
i'll never forget the fun that i've had.
truth or dare, dance battle, lip syncing etc.
it's probably the best class i've ever been in.
i wish JC doesn't have to end so soon.
this was the best part of my life.

putting graduation day aside,
all those laughing and joking has finally landed me with a sorethroat.
study day with Fen tomorrow.
after 2 days of fun and no work,

Life's pretty much that *points up* isn't it?
More than a year ago,
I entered CJC, with fear.
Fearing that whatever shit that has happened in West Spring will happen again.
CJ was totally new to me,
my best friends weren't there and almost everyone was a stranger.
Actually, most of them still are, 'cept for those from T17.

Now that my JC life is almost ending,
I wonder what will happen next.
I guess I'll probably miss talking to them in class, during recess and after school.
Just like how I've missed walking to school with Fen, chatting with her and Erica during lessons.
I don't really want to leave the place.
But then again, it's not the school that I miss.
It's the people.
My friends, my classmates and my teachers.
They've really been a bunch of supportive people.

In 2009, we were strangers.
Then we became classmates, friends etc.
Those funny and hilarious moments,
the nagging from the teachers,
wacky "conversations",
birthday celebrations,
it's all going to become memories.

And this time round,
I really enjoyed my time in school.

one whole week of crash course almost coming to an end.
before the crash course, i thought that it will help me to prepare fully for prelims.
it's not that the crash course was bad,
it's pretty good actually,
especially Chem and some parts of physics.
yet somehow,
as time goes by, i realised there are more and more question marks popping up.

ionic equilibria was the WORSE.
i though i've knew it already.
Ms Teo's method was really good.
yet i couldn't do the whole question properly, which was really really very very depressing.

Prelims are going to continue from monday onwards.
i'm not even prepared at all and i have no idea why.
i don't understand anything, i don't know my facts, definitions and formulas.
all i know is i want all these crap to be over as soon as possible.
like real quick.

i used to love learning.
exams didn't used to be so scary.
in fact, i love exams because i knew i could pass it pretty easily as long as i've put in effort.
look what's happening now.
i hate it, right straight to the core.
prelims' not even over and i'm planning my after A's schedule.

i'm sick of being forced to study.
it's too mundane and i don't see the point in learning certain things, especially those that i have no interests in.
i miss POA and secondary school sciences.

extremely satisfied today :D
very first trip to Marina Bay Sands hotel with B's family and his dad's friends.
everything inside was branded and there was this sampan ride which was pretty cool.

spent the day lazing around in the hotel room with B, his sister and his cousin.
LOVE the bed and pillows!
reminds me of Harris but even better!
the toilet was awesome!
had a feeling that it's bigger than my bedroom.
(thats kinda sad since it would mean that my bedroom is actually extremely small).
should have brought my camera along!
damm wasted because it was left under my table to collect dust ):

went to the sky park after dinner.
the fireworks were MAGNIFICENT!
love it! love it! love it!
i've never ever ever seen fireworks so close before.
the closest that i've gotten was through the windows of the hotel room many many years back.
made B kiss me on the cheek when the fireworks were in the sky and he said that next time on facebook note, we can say that we've done it before XD

after that was IP MAN in the hotel room then home sweet home (:

i think i'm pretty lucky :D

guess what,
i got a flu jab last year and now, i'm down with the cold.
lols, i hope they have a cold jab too.
then i'll be super human :D

slept from 8 last night till this morning.
turned up in school for national day celebration.
almost almost regretted going to school because my nose was so irritating but the T17 girls made everything so worth it :D

potluck (sp?) during break.
mass spamming of food.
chips, chocolates, grapes, strawberries, cookies, eggs, ham, junk food, more junk food and more more junk food.
ate a bit of everything (well, it's a celebration after all ;) )
human chain thing was hilarious,
i had so so so much fun in school today :D

a pity that i was sick and couldn't join the T17 girls on their trip to somerset,
neither could i go for lunch with Fen and Erica D:
but i guess it kind of worked out pretty well since either way, i'll miss out with one of them.
left school and went to see the doctor.
got B to accompany me before he went back to school to join the other guys.
love this sotong boy of mine :D :D

bus-ed back after that, had some food, took my medicine and slept from 2 till 6.
i feel like a pig.
been sleeping and sleeping.
and of course i saw the smses from B, Fen and Erica :D

i think my whole weekend is pretty screwed up now.
yesterday, i actually had the idea of asking Fen out to study this saturday because it's been so long since i've met her.
then i fell sick =.=
i guess i'm gonna do some self-quarantine now so i'm gonna have to study at home.

another lesson learnt.
i really have to sleep more regularly and spam water.
same goes for everyone ok?!
gonna go sleep again at 10 :D

just a day after i privated my blog because i thought that i'll have nothing to blog about,
i have something to blog about.

Kirti told me that green tea gives nice skin and 8 Days reported that green tea can help to lose weight.
in my kanchiongness,
i drank green tea while reading transition metals last night at 9 plus.

i'm still freaking awake right now.
can you believe this?
i practically just lied in bed from 11-11.30 then from 11.45-3.40.
it's torture.
well, i did somehow slept a lil in between but it's like i didn't.
does anyone actually have any idea how upset i am right now? ):
all i want is SLEEP.

thats all, nothing fancy and yet i can't seem to sleep ):
lesson learnt (the hard way).
i will never ever ever ever ever drink green tea at night.

i'm so glad that i took a hour nap from 7-8 because it made me feel a whole lot better.
at least it's not like my body didn't get to rest at all :\

PMS

i was surfing Google on reasons to hate PMS.
then, i realised most people have the same problem.
grouchiness, extremely easily irritated, mood swings and sometimes you'll just seem to hate this whole world.

this is so stupid.
we should be happy that we're all healthy and our visitor comes regularly (well, for some of us at least) but somehow sometimes i still wish that mine will be like crazily irregular.
perhaps once every half a year?
think about the money that i'll get to save on buying pads and all that convenience and comfy-ness.
but then, that would also mean that something is seriously wrong with me.

i really hate it.
it's almost like every single thing irritates me so much so that i'm extremely guilty for making the people around me go through it, especially the T17 girls.
ive been complaining way too much today.
the weather's too hot,
the weather's too cold,
i'm damm hungry,
i'm super bloated,
why is the chair so squeaky,
why isn't it raining,
why is my bag so freaking heavy,
and the list goes on.

i've been craving for food recently.
most of the time, i just want to CHEW something.
yet i don't want to give in to temptation because i'm too lazy to exercise and stuff.
arrgh, i want food, not fats.
i think i should use my idea.
maybe every time i feel like eating when i'm not hungry,
i'll imagine my flabby parts and then maybe i'll stay away from eating unnecessarily.

high metabolism rate.
those people born with it are so LUCKY.
because they can binge while being couch potatoes and still NOT get fat.
there are times whereby i'll look at some girls in school and wish to be like them.
not them completely but some parts of them.
the nice thin arms and legs and almost-disappearing tummy.
i'll tell myself, i'm not that fat so it's okay.
i'm just chubby, it's ok.
but then the mirror always always tell me the opposite.
this is almost depressing.

on the side note,
cramps, pimples and bloated-ness caused by the monthly cycle are not part of PMS.
somehow, PMS only includes mental health problems such as depression.

during the MCQ today,
i went "F***! 1st question stuck!"
managed to think it through but the foul four-letters word came up again and again whenever i'm checking the time or when i got stuck again.
section B wasn't any easy.
the truth is, it's infinity times much more tougher.

what's done is done.
i can't changed anything about it anyway.
told Dad about it and he was like "die liao loh, yesterday one also like that".
see! even my dad surrendered to the demands of our education system.

Should i go about it starting from yesrterday morning or should i do it in a "thinking back" kinda thing?

ok, here it goes.
As i sat on my computer chair looking my my LCD screen, with all my eyedrops and sunglasses laying around on my desk, i can't help thinking that my red right eye looks very cool right now. i couldn't believe that i am now considered a lasik patient. for so many years, i've been thinking about it but because i was under 18, i had to push the thought away.

yesterday was it. I'm officially 18years and 1 day old. i went to the medical clinic at 10 am, waited and took a series of tests that will look at my eye pressure, the thickness of my cornea, the shape of it, whether it my retina still there and stuff like that. i had to use eye drops that'll dilate my pupils so that they can continue take more tests. meanwhile, i prayed very hard that i'll be suitable for lasik surgery.

after a crazily long wait, a lady asked a few of us into a office and told us things about lasik, risks, advantage, dos and don'ts on surgery day. then she told the rest of them to leave and asked me "when do you want to do the lasik surgery?"

"as soon as possible."

"how about today? there's a free slot!"

"OK!!!" *imagine my excitement! *giggles like a mad girl*

went for lunch at FEP then we went back to the clinic.
a nurse led my mum and i to the surgery waiting area to sign a consent form and i was told to take a rest inside a cubicle with a HUGE and comfy armchair while my mum goes back outside and wait with my sister.

while in that small cubicle, another nurse came in, helped me with the gown and everything and she briefed me about the eyedrops, sleeping pills, wipes and my review appointment tomorrow. when she left, i fell asleep.

a nurse nudged me awake and asked me to sit down on a plastic chair outside the operating theatre. after a while, i went in and lied down on something like a dentist chair. Dr Goh tried to put in some white plastic thing into my eye so that i won't be able to blink but i was too nervous, he just can't seem to get it in. they had to give me a pill that will help me to relax my eye muscle and then this time round, viola! both eyes were done making the cornea flap. we waited and waited and waited and the laser was on.

that was it. my eye were done. i could see a little but things were still blurish. seriously speaking, i was scared out of my wits in there. i was so so so tempted to ask a nurse to hold my hand ):

after that, i changed back to my normal shirt and shoes and a nurse led me back to my mum. i couldn't stop tearing so we cabbed and i showered (no face/ hair washing allowed till monday morning). ate a few mouthful of rice (i was sick and i couldn't open my eyes w/o tearing), took the sleeping pills and slept. woke up at 9 plus cos it was too warm. then i on the aircon, took the 2nd pill and slept again (with the aircon on). called b at 4 plus because when he messaged me, my sight was still a lil blury and i thought it was still 9 plus LOL. KO again after that.

now, i can see about 90%. can't wait for tomorrow and i seriously have to mug.

I think i'm turning into a grouchy old lady who's simply just unhappy at every single thing..

when i boarded 960 this morning,
i couldn't stop whining (to myself, QUIETLY) about how long i've waited for that bus and how noisy the TWO aunties were.
it's like, come on, no one wants to know how sucky your colleague is,
how you cook certain dishes, how your kids detest oily chicken wings and stuffs.
like seriously,
it's the 1st time i've increase my volume to the max and i can still hear their conversation.
no, i don't care how much you two aunties haven't seen each other and how eager are you to update each other.
i just want to read my chemistry notes and other people just want to sleep ):

you know, bad things always happen at one go.
the chap behind me was snorting NON-STOP!
i was so afraid that s/he couldn't take it and sneeze right into the back of my head and the mucus will just fly everywhere.
DAMM SICK CAN?!
i simply just have this idea that no matter how bad your nose feels,
please please try not to let people hear the mucus-jam in it.
it's just way too disgusting.
(which is also why i hate to have flu & blow my nose in public.)
i know it's normally not within our control but keep the sound effect low, pretty please?

i think i was whining too much cos i bumped my head into the pole (?) on top when i was gonna alight.
i hate it!
it's not the 1st time already.
shucks, i wish i'm shorter.
like 2-3 cm, it'll make a HUGE difference.

thank god, after that, i turned normal again.
and that means a whole day with my god-niece and godmum (L)
my niece is soooo crazily cute can!

and my godmum gave me a huge hug!

these two girls got me a pair of crazily high heels for my birthday present!
crazily unexpected since i've never ever received shoes before XD
they must be dying for me to wear heels out with them since i'm always either in flats or flipflops (which do annoy Fen sometimes LOL )

on the bus with Mummy, i was thinking about this.
people go for fortune telling because they were scared of what's gonna happen in the future.
then, they got scared after knowing what's gonna happen.
others prefer not to know about their future so that they won't be scared but they still end up terrified when shit happens.
why?

they say, if you want to prevent disappointment, then you're gonna have to keep your expectations low, i.e. be more pessimistic.
but when you're pessimistic, you're sad.
when you're disappointed, you're also sad.
then what's the point?
either way, you're still gonna feel real damm shitty

sometimes, i believe that things are becoming better, shit will start to happen.
the more paranoid i am about shitty things happening, the more it'll happen.
yet, it's the previous shitty things that made me paranoid in the 1st place.
why?

this is so irritating.
i really do want to believe in myself but sometimes, judging from what people do,
you'll really think lowly of yourself or you simply loses all your confidence.
you know you're good but when shit happens,
thats it, you suck.
all the way from head to toes.

when i start to care too much about some people,
i'll start to try to decipher and analysis their every single actions.
(no, i'm not a freak, you arsehole.)
it's like "shit, is XXX angry with me?", "i bet XXX is doing *some actions* because of YYY" etc.
it's things like this that makes me even more depressed than before and causes me to do some really stupid things and then the shit magnifies by a 1000 times.

seriously, there are times where i'll get real irritated with myself.
i wish i'll care less or at least, be less paranoid and less petty.
the thing with me is, i always remember the sucky things.
but hey, who doesn't think of that when they're upset? :\
the more sucky things i remember, the more paranoid i get, more shit then happens and i'll get to remember more crappy stuffs.

i think i have a problem with myself.
